Where is the Royal Liver Building experience?
The Royal Liver Building is based on the Pier Head, Liverpool Waterfront L3 1HU. There is limited on-street parking around the attraction, however we are serviced by a range of public and private car parks across the waterfront and city centre.
How far is the Royal Liver Building from local public transport?
If you’re travelling by train, Liverpool Lime Street station is approximately a 20-minute walk away from us with local Merseyrail services also running to James Street station (a 5-minute walk away).
Where is the entrance?
The main entrance to the attraction is located in the courtyard of the building, just off Canada Boulevard, L3 1HU.
What time do I need to arrive?
The time slot allocated, is the time of tour itself, we recommend that all guests arrive 10 minutes before their allotted time slot.
Do I need to pre-book my tickets?
Tours run subject to demand and on some days a full tour schedule may not operate. With limited capacity and high demand, during peak times all tours may be sold out well in advance so we highly recommend booking your tickets online as soon as you know your visit dates.
Are face coverings mandatory?
In line with Government guidance from Saturday 8th August, Face coverings will be mandatory in all indoor visitor attractions unless a visitor is exempt under the guidance.
All visitors who aren’t exempt will be required to wear a face covering in all internal areas and may be refused admittance if they refuse. Please visit our Terms & Conditions for more information
Can I exchange my ticket for another date?
Requests to change the date of your visit must be made no later than 72 hours before the visitor centre opens on the date of your booking. Any potential new dates are subject to availability. The potential new date must be within 3 months of the original booking date and tickets cannot be exchanged again.

Can I make a group booking?
We look forward to welcoming any groups wishing to enjoy the experience and learn about the history of this fantastic building and city. For any groups wishing to book email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Can I book a ticket on the day?
Tickets can be purchased on the day of your visit from reception based on availability. Please be aware that you do run the risk, however, of all tours being sold out during peak times and it is always better to pre-book well in advance of travelling to avoid disappointment. Online and telephone bookings are not available on the day of your visit.
When can I collect my tickets?
Our reception and visitor centre open 30 minutes prior to the first tour of the day in order for guests to collect pre-booked tickets.
How long is the experience?
The total time to allow for the tour and experience is 70 minutes, which will give you plenty of time to take in every part of the Royal Liver Building.
Do you have disability access?
For visitors with special mobility requirements, access is through the main building. Please go to the main building reception in the foyer on arrival and a member of our team will come and escort you in. Please note that due to the nature of the building there is no access for wheelchair users or mobility scooters above the visitor centre, for more information please refer to the accessibility section.
Can I bring a bag with me?
Wheeled bags, and bags larger than hand luggage are not permitted in RLB360. Due to the nature of the tower only handbags will be permitted on the tour, locker facilities are provided to store any other bags. Please note that due to increased national security levels, random bag searches may be carried out when you enter the building.
